Located up the road from the C & O canal in the historical section of Poolesville, we are a family owned bycycle shop carrying only quality bicycles for you and your family. We also carry trailers, stroller joggers (Baby Jogger & Dreamer Design), trail-a-bikes, scooters, e-Bike and all the accessories to make your biking enjoyable! We service all makes and models of bicycles.
We offer Quality Electric Bicycles with a range of over 50 miles per charge and speeds over 20 miles per hour. Models include Road, Mountain, Hybrid, Comfort and Cruiser Electric bicycles.
Each of our electric bicycles employs a computer controlled "Energy Management System" utalizing software to that of Hybrid automobiles.
Our Electric Bicycles feature Four modes of pedal assist enabling climbing hills virtually effortless. Four modes of power regenerative /fitness allowing the battery to recharge as you pedal, a Throttle for pedal free cruising and a power regenerative braking system.
Each of our electric bicycles comes with a 2 year warranty covering the computer controlled motor and console and a 1 year warranty for the Lithium Manganese battery.
Included with each electric bicycle is a 2 year scheduled preventive maintenance package covering the electrical system as well as actual bicycle mechanical adjustments.
Also, we install all electic add-on kits for your bicycle!
Prior to establishing Bob's Bikes in Poolesville, Bob Mallasch (owner) was employed as an electronics technician for over 20 years. In addition to our products, we service all other brands of electric bicycles and scooters. All service is preformed on site. We do not service gasoline powered bicycles or scooters.
We are an authorized manufactures service center for Razor, Currie Technologies, EGO, Giant, OHM and BIONX electric bicycles and scooters.

- Adjust hub, bottom bracket and headset bearings
- Tighten crank arms, stem, handlebars etc..
- True wheels, tightening all spokes
